Rental period and reservations

Online reservations are requests until confirmed. The minimum standard rental is four days. A booking deposit may be required to secure a confirmed reservation.

Payment and deposits

A valid credit card in the driver’s name is required. Security deposits are typically $500 when using personal insurance and $1,000 when taking Kaizen’s Collision Damage Waiver.

Insurance

Clients may use qualifying personal automobile insurance or credit-card collision coverage where accepted. Collision coverage and liability are separate. Seven/eight-passenger vans and pickup trucks require the renter’s own transferable automobile policy with at least $1,000,000 liability coverage.

Collision Damage Waiver

The published terms list the waiver at $14.99/day with a $2,000 deductible, subject to exclusions and current confirmation at booking.

Kilometres

150 km/day, 1,000 km/week and 3,000 km/month are included. Extra kilometre charges vary by class.

Fuel, late returns and changes

Return fuel at the starting level. Short fuel carries an administration charge. Extensions should be requested at least 24 hours before the rental ends. Cancellation and late-return charges apply according to the current rental terms.

Vehicle use

Vehicles may not be used for rideshare/delivery work, racing, off-road driving or other prohibited uses listed in the rental agreement. The renter remains responsible for violations and excluded damage.
